For the First Time II

Hey! How are YOU doing today?

I'm fine, thanks! Ready for the new list with stuff that happened to me for the first time? : ) And... yes, I know that today is Saturday, and I promised to publish these posts on Fridays... but if you think about it - Saturday is ALMOST a Friday! : )

Here's the list with all new that's happened to me during the past week... and I can remember right now! Last week for the first time in my life...

• I have had a Chinese meal for dinner that I ate with chopsticks! I've been using them throughout the whole time! I was even helping myself with the chopsticks, instead of the ladle.
• I have missed the writing workshop on Tuesday... So average age must have risen a bit compared to what it was the last time...
• I have missed my Statistics classes on Tuesday AND Thursday... I'll make up today, I promise! : )
• I have underestimated my homework assignment in Introduction to Investments and consequently... messed up my daily regime for the next three days because of a long sleepless night!
• I have had a class cancelled by the professor because of severe food poisoning.
• I have successfully received both books I'd ordered via Amazon! I'm not saying that the service is bad... just these are the first two items I've ever ordered on Amazon. : )
• I have eaten three deserts at dinner! It's too many, don't do this at home... more than once a week!
• I have started reading a book on non-verbal communication. 
• I have been charged for not returning on time another book I had taken from the library...
• I have played basketball with a 68-year old guy. He's name was James and he barely missed to score any time he took a shot... 
• I have beaten my record of 500 and had a total of 600 push-ups for one day.
• I have spent about 6 hours in preparation of a 10-minute sales presentation for an interview.
• And that's my favorite: I have passed the interview and I'm now one of the 9 people to represent Michigan State University at the World Collegiate Sales Open!  : )
