For the First Time

Hi sweet (and not so sweet) readers,

It's been an intense week for me. A lot of new things have happened to me and... to the people around me : ) Let me start with the list!

For the first time in my life...

  • I've seen a squirrel digging in an acorn! Apparently, living squirrels perfectly mimic the gestures and movements of actual cartoon squirrels! For me that was a great shock to realize! I wonder whether living squirrels pay cartoon ones some Intellectual Property Rights fee...
  • I've skipped a second meeting in a row with the writing workshop. I'm sorry Pat, Tina and all Tina's friends! : )
  • I have found a nice opportunity to do research in Finance next semester.
  • I have almost been offered a summer internship in sales. I'm saying almost, because I haven't applied for it yet. Still, I remember the company representative wondering around the room like crazy, trying to find her business cards to give me one. I think this was a sign. She gave only me a card... I think this was a sign too...
  • I have build a wonderful study plan for Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
  • I have absolutely not followed my wonderful study plan for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • I think I'll have to study until 4 a.m. on a Sunday for a second week in a row.
  • I have been so much confused about what I want to do with my future!
  • I have realized that as long as you keep trying to figure something out, even if it doesn't noticeably become clearer immediately, it will eventually do at some later point in time.
  • I have been mistaken for an Australian, because of my accent. Lucas, you should be proud of me, man!
  • Lucas has regretted "teaching me such a good English", because I've actually started proactively using it.
  • Lucas has thought me an  Australian saying: "Good from far, far from good."
  • One of my friends has become a sheriff... even though it was only for a night and... it was most probably done because of a girl at a barn dance. : )
  • I have played dice at a night club. No! It's not what you're thinking! It was just an innocent game! The one with the lowest combined score from both dice gets a slap in the face by all other participants. You see? Innocent it is! Until that night I have always believed that I was lucky...
  • I have realized that my idea of sharing and being generous with strangers rather departs from the one shared by most of the people .
  • I have started a series of daily blogs, which with this post I end. From this day on the Concept of the Day daily series becomes the Concept of the Day series of posts on a random basis! : )
  • I have also published my weekly Friday post on... Sunday!

That's the list for the past week. Good luck with your endeavors during the coming week, my friends! Remember: you won't know what would have happened if you had tried doing something, until you've actually tried it!

If I have used the correct combination of grammar tenses in the last sentence, I think I should thank my English teacher! If not... it's all my fault. She did her best! : )

Best,
Yavor
